USO Stuttgart is open Monday through Friday from 10:00-18:00, Saturday from 10:00-14:00 and is closed on Saturdays prior to and on U.S. Federal Holidays.

Initially opened in 1975, our USO center located on the third floor of building 2915 on Panzer Kaserne serves more than 32,000 USAG Stuttgart military community members annually. The Stuttgart community is comprised of approximately 25,000 active-duty members, reservists, retirees, Department of Defense civilians, Department of Defense contractors and their family members. We strive to exceed their expectations and continuously improve our processes, programs and services.

The center is a 3,000 square-foot facility with an Internet café, free Wi-Fi, an entertainment lounge with a large screen TV, recliners, couches, chairs, tables, printing, copying and fax services, a VoIP telephone for free calls to the United States, an extensive DVD library with over 400 titles available for cost-free borrowing, a small gift shop, a snack bar with cookies, cakes, coffee, and drinks and a children’s corner with toys, books, another large screen TV and DVD player. The facility also has a kitchen used for cooking classes and special events.

USO Stuttgart offers a wide array of programs for our community. A few of the highlights include: holiday dinners (Christmas and Thanksgiving), mobile canteens, "Thanks for Thanksgiving" meals, comedy nights, Military Spouse Appreciation days, Steppin' Out (free tours for E-7's and below), free monthly lunches, the United Through Reading (UTR) program, single/unaccompanied service member meals, pre/post deployment support, care packages and a host of other events. Additionally, we offer free or low cost tour opportunities to explore the surrounding Stuttgart community and cities throughout Europe.

The USO Stuttgart team consists of a center manager, a tours manager, a program and volunteer coordinator, an operations coordinator, an accountant, two information specialists and over 250 active volunteers including 13 advisory council members. Volunteers escort tours, work special events, run programs and cover administrative positions within the center. The advisory council’s 13 members are local business people and key spouses of American military senior leaders. The council provides guidance, support and a bridge to the local community for the military members and their families.

Our promise to the troops and their families: when you walk through the doors of USO Stuttgart, you will walk into your “home away from home.”
